Jakobien

Hello! My name is Jakobien. I am a psychedelic guide, integration coach and microdosing educator living in Amsterdam.

Throughout my twenties, I thought I was living my purpose: I had a Journalism degree, I travelled lots, got married, and found myself working alongside smart people who were building the internet. On the inside however, I deeply struggled to accept myself. I wasn’t being authentic, and I got literally burnt out from trying to please everyone else except for me. Through psychedelic teachers such as truffles, mushrooms, ayahuasca, and other sacred earth medicines, I discovered less rigid ways of thinking and started living a life that prioritizes connection, presence and quality in relationships—including the ones with myself and with our Earth.  

​​I cofounded Microdosing Institute (although we’ve recently parted ways) and I got certified as a holistic coach and psychosocial practitioner. I’m currently getting trained in psychotraumatology. Beyond official certifications, I feel privileged to always be learning from wisdom keepers and teachers who keep important teachings from shamanic, buddhist, and non-dual wisdom traditions alive.
